HISTORY

Perurail Cargo is the cargo business unit of Perurail S.A. Its creation dates back to September 21st, 1999, when the business group commits to strengthening the promotion and economic integration of the Southern Railway.

The existence of this service comes about with an unsatisfied market and unfulfilled expectations of a demanded service which aims to transport large volumes of cargo by rail or bimodal (Train-truck). A greater market share in the area of influence in the southern region contributed to this increased demand.
