Cienciano: During 2010, Perurail sponsored for the ninth consecutive year Cienciano Soccer Club, the most representative of Cusco, and among all first division teams in Peru, the most successful internationally.

Feasts of Cusco:

Perurail sponsored the Jubilee Feasts of Cusco: The Intiraymi and Night Light & Sound, held in June 2010, under the umbrella of the Municipal Festivities Cusco (EMUFEC). Attended, as usual, all the population of Cusco, as well as domestic and foreign tourists.

And in 2011, Perurail will be again one of the main sponsors of the Jubilee Feasts of Cusco.

Guided tours of kindergarten to the Train Station:

More than 1793 children from different kindergardens visited Cusco Train Station of Wanchaq in 2010 and had the opportunity to get on the Andean Explorer, Perurail luxury train, and know more about the railway transportation.

Local Train Journal

In April 2011, Perurail launched a newspaper to be distributed free to local train passengers (a group composed mainly of residents of Machu Picchu Pueblo), so that during the trip can be informed and entertained with topics of interest. The edition was printed in two languages: Spanish and Quechua.
