The Ollantaytambo Municipality has ordered Av. Ferrocarril to be temporarily closed starting Monday, March 14th for the next 15 days. This is due to road paving work that needs to be completed. Because of this all our passengers on the local and tourist trains will be able to enter in vehicles only up to the Municipality parking lot. From that point they must use a pedestrian path (350 meters which takes about 10 minutes on foot). This path leads to Ollantaytambo station and must be taken upon returning from Machu Picchu as well. During this time, luggage service will be loaded from Pachar station. We ask all passengers to take this into consideration so they may arrive at the station ahead of time to board their train.
