If you have purchased your ticket directly in Peru at one of our train stations no check-in is required and you should arrive at the station 30 minutes prior to departure of your train service.

Special Check-In Procedure for Online Purchases

When booking online you will receive an electronic receipt for your purchase. You should keep this receipt and carry it when traveling to Peru. The receipt is valid when boarding.

Please be sure to be at the station at least half an hour before the your train's departure.

When boarding the train you must submit your train ticket and ID. In the case of minors who have no identification documents and travel with adults, PeruRail presume that all information provided by the adult is true.

If you refuse to show your identification when requested, you run the risk of landing prompted the train and / or not being loaded on the service planned to travel. From experience one of these cases, your ticket is not valid for a refund.
