Physically Challenged Travellers

PeruRail will do its best to provide any help you need.
We have staff on hand at all our terminals in case you need assistance onto (off from) any of our trains. Please, we only ask you to be in the train station at least an hour in advance and approach some of our passenger service agents who will assist you.

Unaccompanied  Minors

PeruRail does not allow children under the age twelve to travel alone.

Food or dietary restrictions

If you’re travelling on any of our trains and have special dietary requirements, please let us know when you book or email us on reservas@perurail.com.

Vegetarian options for clients will be available, as snacks, on the corresponding services, only if the PeruRail receives notice 48 hours prior the date of travel, specifying the number of the seat, coach and train service.

On The Hiram Bingham and The Andean Explorer vegetarian options are always available. The chef will have a daily vegetarian option.

Pets & Animals

We are delighted to be able to tell you that guide dogs are accepted on board. Unfortunately, these are the only animals that can travel on Perurail. If you require transport of other type of animals please contact us at reservas@perurail.com for further assistance.
