Heading down to the Urubamba River, is found the old town of the same name, agriculture center in the Inca period and now a beautiful area with plenty of fruit production. The village, with its bustling market, still has its traditional Andean charm and is located on the edge of the majestic snow Chicon.
The area is famous for its unique landscape and the amazing beauty that surrounds it. Many travelers enjoy Urubamba surroundings while practicing adventure sports like canoeing, hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.
