We are PeruRail Cargo
PeruRail Cargo is PeruRail’s business unit dedicated to rail and bimodal transportation of large freight volumes across southern Peru. Since 1999, we have operated as a Peruvian‑British capital company, connecting production centers, industrial zones, and the Port of Matarani through a solid, secure, and strategically integrated logistics network.
Our experience has positioned us as a trusted partner for the mining and industrial sectors, delivering specialized solutions, integrated infrastructure, and operations aligned with international standards.
Our track record
With more than 25 years of experience, we have supported the growth of the Mollendo – Arequipa – Juliaca – Puno – Cusco logistics corridors, moving large cargo volumes with continuity and efficiency.
Our evolution has been driven by operational modernization, the implementation of bimodal systems, and the consolidation of transfer centers such as Pillones, strengthening the connection between mine, plant, inland terminal, and port.
