This new service combines bus and train travel, departing and returning to Cusco city. Available until April 30, 2017.

• Passengers using the Vistadome bimodal service board a private bus at Wanchaq Station, 5 minutes away from Cusco’s historic center, and alight at Ollantaytambo Station. • Passengers using the Belmond Hiram Bingham bimodal service board a private bus at Poroy Station, 20 minutes away from Cusco’s historic center, and alight at Belmond Hotel Rio Sagrado. From the hotel, join Belmond Hiram Bingham for the journey to Machu Picchu Station. On the return leg, passangers are dropped off at their accommodation in Cusco. There is no bimodal service for the Vistadome. Departures from Ollantaytambo Station or Urubamba Station.

(**) The Bimodal Service runs between January and April, during the rainy season in Cusco, when part of the railway is closed for safety reasons to avoid possible contingencies as a result of landslides. At this time of year, the railway concessionaire, Ferrocarril Transandino S.A., performs reinforcement works on the rails. For this reason, trains are unable to travel between Cusco and the Sacred Valley during these four months of the year.

Between January 2 and April 30, 2017, PeruRail will operate the Bimodal Service (Bus + Train), a new service that combines bus and train travel, departing and returning to Cusco City.

During this period:
