Stations for Boarding the Train

Ollantaytambo Station (Sacred Valley)

This train station is in the heart of the Sacred Valley. It is popular with visitors because of the large number of departure times. Located 1.30 hours from Cusco’s Plaza de Armas (Main Square).

Machu Picchu Pueblo Station (Machu Picchu Pueblo)

Located in the center of Machu Picchu Pueblo, inside the Handicrafts Market.

Wánchaq Station (Cusco)

Located in the heart of the city of Cusco, a 15-minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. From this station you can also take the bus in the Bimodal bus service (bus + train) bound for Machu Picchu Pueblo. For more information click here

Poroy Station (Cusco)

Poroy is a district in Cusco with one of the most important train stations that connect to the Machu Picchu station.  It is located 20 minutes by car from the Plaza de Armas.
