Cusco, April 27, 2026 

PeruRail informs its passengers, travel agencies, tour operators, and the general public that, starting Friday, May 1, it will resume its train services from the San Pedro and Poroy stations in Cusco.

The resumption of railway operations has been made possible following authorization from Ferrocarril Transandino S.A., the railway infrastructure concessionaire.modal service must travel with due notice to the Ollantaytambo station. 

Accordingly, tourist train services departing from and arriving at the San Pedro and Poroy stations will resume. In addition, bimodal service (bus + train) between Wanchaq, Poroy, Pachar and Ollantaytambo will continue to be provided for services operating under this itinerary.
