Operative information between August 21st and 28th 2025

We wish to inform our passengers, and tour operators that, in accordance to the notification from the railway concessionaire, Ferrocarril Transandino, extending the period of work on the Cusco – Hidroeléctrica railway infrastructure, the service of our Hiram Bingham, A Belmond Train, to and from Machu Picchu, will operate with departure and arrival at Rio Sagrado, A Belmond Hotel, Urubamba, from August 21st to 28th.

To maintain uninterrupted service, the Poroy-Urubamba section will be operated via our bimodal service (Bus + Train), departing from Wanchaq Station in Cusco. We would like to reassure our passengers that these maintenance works are being undertaken with the utmost regard for the safety of both our guests and our staff.
