That is why over time we have added new ways of experiencing your tour of the Inca lands, the Bimodal service being one of the most attractive, combining the experience of traveling to the Inca Citadel by Train and by Bus. Until April 30, the Bimodal service will allow you to live your adventure in the most comfortable and safest way possible on the way to Machu Picchu, Puno, Lake Titicaca, among others, combining the tranquility of a trip by private Bus and Train.

In this season, the PeruRail Vistadome and PeruRail Expedition’s train services include a private bus that begins its journey at Wanchaq Station, located 5 minutes from downtown Cusco and ends at Ollantaytambo Station, place of the first transfer. At this point the train journey begins and will take you to Machu Picchu Pueblo Station, the last stop before starting the ascent to the Inca Citadel.

Remember that this service applies only to the frequencies that depart from the Wanchaq station in Cusco. In the mornings you will find the buses of frequencies 83 at 5:10 a.m., 33 at 5:50 a.m. and 203 at 7:50 a.m. from Wanchaq station to Ollantaytambo where you will take the PeruRail Vistadome or PeruRail Expedition trains to finish your journey to Machu Picchu Pueblo station at 09:15 a.m., 09:54 a.m. and 12:11 m., respectively. While in the afternoons you will find frequencies 34 at 15:20 p.m., 504 at 16:22 p.m. and 32 at 16:43 p.m. of the same trains from Machu Picchu Pueblo station to Ollantaytambo station to finally finish the Bus ride to the Wanchaq station located in the center of Cusco at 19:30 p.m., 20:30 p.m. and 20:55 p.m., respectively.
