PeruRail S.A., railway operator in the south and southeast route of the country, informs its passengers, travel agencies, tour operators and the community in general that, after having knowledge of the temporary closure of the access roads to Ollantaytambo during the celebration in honor of the Lord of Choquekillka to be held by the District Municipality of Ollantaytambo, the buses that cover our bimodal service, will have to travel on the avoidance road during the following days and times:

• Saturday, May 18 – From 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm
• Sunday, May 19th – 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Monday, May 20 – By hours according to the flow of vehicles
• Tuesday May 21st – 6:45 am to 10:00 am and 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm

We adopt this measure in compliance with the notification of the municipality of Ollantaytambo, due to the celebration to be held in that district. We regret the discomfort that this measure could generate in our passengers; however, it is due to a situation beyond the company’s control.

We suggest that passengers travelling on their own to the station take the necessary precautions to arrive in good time for train boarding.
