Cusco, 30 December 2025 

4:40 p.m. – We report that the railcars transporting workers and passengers injured in today’s train accident HAVE ARRIVED at the Piscacucho station. The affected individuals were immediately attended to by medical support personnel and transported in ambulances to the nearest hospitals and health centres. 

People are our top priority. Therefore, our team continues to make every effort to provide care and support to the staff and passengers of both railway companies, ensuring that they receive the support they need at all times. We express our deep gratitude to the health personnel, the General Fire Brigade, the Peruvian National Police and the citizen security teams of Ollantaytambo and Urubamba for their valuable and committed work during these critical hours.
