PeruRail S.A., the official railway operator serving southern and south-eastern Peru, informs passengers, travel agencies, tour operators, and the general public that, in accordance with the latest update from the railway concessionaire Ferrocarril Trasandino S.A., regular train services on the Ollantaytambo – Machupicchu – Ollantaytambo route will resume today, Wednesday 17th September, from 13:00 hrs onwards.

This decision follows confirmation from the relevant authorities that safety and operational conditions along the railway line have been fully restored.

The first reinstated service will be Train 303, departing from Ollantaytambo Station at 13:27 hrs.
